Tops For Dancing ’71 is a classic early-1970s European easy-listening and dance-orchestra compilation by Jo Ment and his orchestra. Featuring instrumental and dance-band interpretations of many popular international hits of the period, the album was designed for social dancing, parties and light entertainment.

Jo Ment’s recordings were particularly popular in Germany and across Europe during the late 1960s and early 1970s, with his orchestra producing accessible arrangements of contemporary chart hits, schlager favourites and dance-floor standards. Today these albums appeal primarily to collectors of vintage European dance music and nostalgia compilations.
