Released in 1971, Santana III is widely regarded as one of the strongest albums in Santana’s classic early period. It reunited much of the original Woodstock-era lineup and delivered the band’s signature fusion of Latin rock, blues, jazz and psychedelic influences. The album produced standout tracks such as Everybody’s Everything, No One To Depend On and Batuka, helping cement Santana’s reputation as one of the most innovative bands of the era.

Collectors particularly value Santana III because it captures the band before later stylistic changes, featuring the powerful guitar work of Carlos Santana alongside the percussion-driven sound that made the group famous. Original early pressings remain sought after worldwide.
