A sought-after soul single by R.B. Hudmon, best known for the powerful Northern Soul favourite “How Can I Be A Witness.” Originally released in the mid-1960s, the track gained renewed popularity during the Northern Soul movement in the UK during the 1970s, where DJs and collectors searched for rare American soul singles with strong dance beats.

Because of that revival, original copies became highly collectible among soul enthusiasts and Northern Soul collectors. Even today the single remains well known within that scene for its driving rhythm and classic mid-60s soul sound.
