Out Of This World was Europe’s highly anticipated follow-up to The Final Countdown. Released in 1988, it continued the band’s polished blend of melodic hard rock, arena rock and AOR, featuring the powerful vocals of Joey Tempest and the soaring guitar work of Kee Marcello. While it did not quite match the enormous commercial success of its predecessor, it remains a favourite among AOR and melodic rock collectors.

The album produced several successful singles, including “Superstitious,” “Open Your Heart,” and “Let The Good Times Rock.” Today it is regarded as one of Europe’s strongest late-1980s releases and has developed a solid following among collectors of classic melodic hard rock.
