OVERVIEW
The Blackstar Unity U250ACT is a 250-watt powered active extension cabinet designed to deliver massive headroom, full-range frequency response, and gig-ready output. Equipped with a custom 15-inch Eminence Opus speaker and independent volume control, the U250ACT serves two powerful roles: a seamless power-doubling extension cabinet for the Blackstar Unity Bass Series, and a standalone powered full-range active monitor (FRFR) for digital guitar modelers (Helix, Quad Cortex, Kemper, Tonex), electronic drums, keyboards, and acoustic preamps.
KEY FEATURES
Standalone FRFR Active Monitor: Featuring a dedicated 1/4" / XLR Line Input with independent volume control, the U250ACT can be used directly with floor modelers, preamps, keyboard rigs, or synth setups without needing a separate head or combo amplifier.
15" Custom Eminence Power: Driven by a high-output 15-inch Eminence Opus driver and high-headroom solid-state power amp, it effortlessly handles deep sub-bass frequencies, fast drum transients, and full-spectrum guitar IRs without cabinet coloration.
Seamless Unity Rig Expansion: Plugs directly into the Cabinet Link output of any Blackstar Unity combo (Unity 30, 60, 120, or 250) to instantly add 250 watts of active stage power and low-end extension for high-volume venue performance.
Flexible Signal Routing: Includes a balanced XLR Thru output to pass your clean signal to additional powered cabs, stage monitors, or front-of-house PA systems.
Roadworthy & Studio Ready: Housed in a durable, lightweight enclosure with heavy-duty metal grilles, side carry handles, and a pad switch to prevent input clipping across active or passive signal sources.
