The Blackstar Unity 500 is a high-power, 500-watt combo engineered to deliver maximum headroom, lightning-fast transient response, and stage-filling volume. Driven by two custom 10-inch Eminence Opus speakers and linear solid-state amplification, the Unity 500 serves as both an authoritative 500W 2x10" bass guitar combo and an uncolored full-range active monitor (FRFR) for electronic drums, keyboards, synthesizers, acoustic instruments, and digital guitar modelers (Helix, Quad Cortex, Kemper, Tonex).

500 Watts of Dual 10" Power: Featuring 500 watts of high-headroom solid-state power driving dual 10" custom Eminence Opus speakers, the Unity 500 reproduces complex low-end frequencies and high-dynamic transients effortlessly without unwanted distortion or speaker blowout.
Preamp & Response Voicing Control: Dial in any sound using three preamp voicings (Classic, Modern, and Flat) combined with dynamic power-amp response options (6L6, 6550, and Linear). Setting the unit to Flat turns it into an accurate FRFR powered speaker for external preamps, floor processors, and synths.
Onboard Studio Effects & Tone Control: Features a 3-band EQ with semi-parametric Mid control, a dynamic onboard Compressor, footswitchable Drive section (Overdrive, Distortion, Fuzz), and integrated Chorus and Octaver effects.
Pro Studio Interface & Connectivity: Includes a multi-channel USB audio interface for direct-to-DAW studio recording, a balanced XLR line output with ground lift, an FX Loop, and an MP3/Line-In jack for jamming along to backing tracks or connecting external mixers.
Cabinet Expansion: Includes a rear Cabinet Link output to plug into the Blackstar Unity U250ACT active extension cabinet or additional powered cabs when extra stage coverage is needed for major venues.
