Uprising was the final studio album released during Bob Marley’s lifetime and stands as one of the most important recordings in the reggae legend’s catalogue. Released in 1980, the album combines Marley’s trademark messages of spirituality, social justice and personal reflection with some of the strongest songwriting of his career.
